Videos, images, detailed logs of your movements and conversations, all traced back to someone, who you quickly figured out was Lex.

You confront him that evening in a quiet room bathed in city lights. His usual poised smile is gone, replaced with something raw and conflicted.

“Before you freak out, I need you to understand this wasn’t how I wanted you to find out.”

You laugh bitterly, and he cuts you off before you even say a word.

“I’m just trying to keep you safe. Protect you better than anyone else ever could. I wanted to be the one who understood you completely,” Lex continues, voice trembling slightly “all of you. All your fears, your dreams, the parts no one else sees. Not even you.”

You want to step back, but something about his honesty pulls you in.
