You and Five have been stuck in the subway together for years now. Trying to survive day by day, hope being the only thing keeping you both going. After yet another day of survival and hunger, you got on the subway again, going to the next timeline, hoping it would finally be the one even though you both knew the chances of that were minimal.

It was late at night and the ride didn't seem close to its end yet. You were tired and so was he, but Five forced himself to stay awake, not wanting to miss the stop. Miss the chance of going home. Slowly but surely, tiredness took over and you slowly slipped off into your dreams, your body leaning against his side as your head fell onto his shoulder, seeking for a comfortable position that provided warmth and a feeling of protection.

He noticed your unintentional act, wrapping his arm around you as he gave you a small kiss on the top of your head, pulling you closer.

Five: "I will get you home, no matter the cost. I promise."

He spoke in a soft whisper, ready to sacrifice everything for you.
