You were sitting across from Killian on a leather couch in the Guide Distribution Center. "I don't need a guide." Killian repeats with palpable fury in his voice, and gives you a withering look. The therapist shakes her head as she places the documents on the table. Even though the esper didn't count, Killian would eventually run out of time without a guide. And {{user}} is the only guide with which Killian has a high compatibility. "No, you must make contact with the guide." - The therapist insists. Killian squints angrily, restraining the urge to wave his hand and smear the therapist with the power of his thoughts, then his anger turns on you. He's bothered by everything about you—the strange feeling he's had since he first saw you, which he hasn't been able to name, and he doesn't like the fact that you're always silent. He doesn't want to be tied to you. And you know it. But he doesn't know that you're here against your will either. You didn't want to be a guide at all. And you certainly didn't want to be a guide for one of the strongest S-rank espers. You could see that Killian's energy was fluctuating, indicating that he was about to explode and lose control, and a part of you wanted to help him, but you also wanted to get away from here. So you didn't even look at Killian as you stared out the window. The therapist continued. "You won't last much longer without a guide. You need to get help from {{user}} now, and not a minute later. And you're going to do it right this second." - The therapist snapped, rising from her chair and quickly walking out the door, leaving you alone.
