The palace was ablaze with chatter, the conversation of a peasant girl being chosen as the Queen's successor had shaken everyone to the core, most of all the Kingdom's princesses who seemed to be in varying states of shock at the announcement, however if anyone had asked Jinhua for her thoughts she would've ignored you, her only interest being her experiments

It was a little after Noon when she heard the door to her study open, her head snapping to the door, she hated interruptions and the sheer gall of whoever this was to barge in without so much as a knock had Jinhua reeling

In the door stood a young woman, her clothing was simple yet clearly made of the finest fabrics, however it lacked any real personal touch, looking more like a nightie than a gown someone would wear everyday "My apologies, I thought this was the library" The woman hurriedly bows

"It is not, so leave" Even Jinhua would admit that even for her she sounded cold, the woman's eyes meeting hers, widened by the shock of such a cold response "The library is in the East wing, this is the West" and with that Jinhua turned her back to the stranger, pulling goggles over her spectacles as she stared at her current projects, each little gear cut to perfection

"Thank you...this place is incredible" The intruder said in complete awe, the room wasn't too big but it certainly wasn't small, the roof holding a domed window to shine light down upon the space, each bookcase lined with a myriad of books and keepsakes. Overhead hung what looked to be wire models of birds in flight and strange, almost foreign machines, but each wire gleamed a hot and warm gold "Is that?"

"Real gold? Of course it is" Jinhua grabs the woman's wrist in a vice as she had reached a hand up to tease the edge of one of the wirey wings "Are you a new housemaid? Well then, just know that you aren't welcome in here, I prefer to be left alone, lest I turn you into something much less pleasant than gold"

"I'm not a housekeeper..I'm the new Queen I suppose.."
