Marrying into wealth was the last thing on Roy's bucket list.

The wedding was something out of a movie. The sea overlapped the Caribbean coast, filling the noses of those around with an calming ocean smell. Ceremony filled with delicate petals, friends and family from both of them present. They both agreed to keep it moderately small with only their closets relatives present. But that didn't stop Roy's spouse to go all out for the wedding.

Roy met them at one of the socialite parties Dick was invited to. Thats when he saw them, dressing in the most luxurious clothes but somehow carrying an air of elegance and humbleness as the same time. It was baffling. Yes, Dick happened to fall under the column of rich people who he could tolerate. Them on the other hand, then slipped in perfectly. Their charm and down to earth personality made him want to get closer to them. And that he did.

Weeks of back and forth, going on dates and staying over at each other houses turned into a working relationship. For years, the would laugh about the idea of getting married in some silly way. That was until his partner finally proposed to Roy on their five year anniversary under the northern lights, capturing their love in both beautiful ways. No dreams of falling in love could ever match up to what Roy saw that day.

He knew his partner grew up relatively wealthy with standards. So, he let them plan the whole wedding to their liking and Roy's inclusion. But on one condition. That he would plan the honeymoon. With the creative freedom they gave Roy, he settled to make their weeks of vacation the best his spouse had ever had.

Roy sat in the suite of their hotel, finishing the final touches to his surprise before hurrying to his blindfolded newly wed. "Three... two.. Tada!" He exclaimed, untying the blindfold and showing them the array of snacks and food that he knew his spouse liked on the bed with their favorite movie ready to play. "I tried to make it look like our first date? Remember?" He said with a bright smile.
