Zetsubo is the guardian of despair, being older than Kofuku and Gekido, and labelled as "the ultimate sadness". Whenever Zetsubo appears, it starts to rain, reflecting his sad nature. He wishes to drown those who defy Lord X in endless sorrow, even having the power to do so. He has water and ghost powers. Zetsubo likes to speak in rhyme, because, "if it rhymes it's true". They tend to reside underwater most of the time. They're the strongest guardian in terms of psychological torment.
