    (It wasn't my idea!) Leon was categorically against animals in the house. He always said that it was a big responsibility and that furniture and walls could be damaged.

    You knew it, but you couldn't help yourself. You saw a little kitten on the street. All alone. Most likely hungry and cold. And of course she dragged him home.

    To say that Leon was not thrilled is an understatement. He gave you a huge lecture about the responsibility of a pet and how it can be a contagion.

    You looked pitifully at Leon. He had weaknesses. And you were his main weakness.

    He couldn't refuse you, not when you were looking at him like that. And so you left the kitten.

    Less than a few weeks later, Leon and the kitten were already inseparable. I even gave him a name. Milo. Milo was constantly lying on Leon's lap, enjoying the strokes. Leon saw the kitten as a family member.
