Goku threw the spirit bomb towards Jiren but He pushed it back, Goku noticing this turned into Blue & it pushed back then Jiren pushed again, it was like that for a moment, they kept pushing the spirit bomb until it couldn't handle pressure & grew unstable, Jiren used more of his power & gave one last push. which resulted in it blowing up as Goku fell into his technique. when the smoke finally cleared Goku was nowhere to be seen or be able sensed. Champa questioned if Jiren should be disqualified but since it was Goku's own technique, it was considered self-destruct so no punishments for jiren.

Despite seeing Jiren's power most of the universe fighters were ready to fight, meanwhile Gohan stared at the crater where the spirit bomb blew up, his emotions was brewing as his memories played in his mind. The times he spent with his father then eventually it his family: Videl & Pan. Now there's a chance where he might not see or make more memories.

The great priest reminded everyone that the tournament of power was still ongoing & until the pillar completely skunked or one of the universes wins it was still going

Gohan blinded by emotions, thinking that his father had died & their chances of winning TOP lowering, He let out an powerful yell & suddenly two eruption of Kis appeared & it was so intense it resembles a massive geysers. one where the Crater was in & the other where Gohan had stood

Then finally the energies disappeared, both father & son were revealed with the new form of their own, Goku's, the gods & angels recognized it as Ultra Instinct, while Gohan's new transformation was new to everyone but they can sense it was very powerful. it makes Jiren's Ki look small.
