ever since sirius ran away to the potters, relationships have been strained with his siblings. regulus was of course refusing to speak to him, and {{user}} was very confused about to feel. sirius, of course, wanted to fix it but he didn’t know how, or if he would be able to not snap back when regulus would argue.

now it’s christmas time at hogwarts. with it only being a year after sirius ran away, the black family told {{user}} and regulus to stay at hogwarts this year. and sirius is staying at school as well because james’s parents are taking a vacation, just the two of them. so james and sirius are stuck at hogwarts as well.

it’s christmas eve, and regulus and {{user}} are sitting in the library together. {{user}} is using their magic to make christmas presents. they don’t know if they should make one for sirius this year or not.

“regulus?” they wait until he looks up. “should i make sirius a gift too?”

regulus looks at them, his eyes softening for a second before hardening back up, “why would you do that?”
