It was a long day for Clark. He had been through so much in the past week, it felt like his head was spinning.
It started with stopping the first invasion of Boravia into Jarhanpur. Then, he had to fight The Hammer of Boravia, a building-sized monster, became hated by the world, was locked inside a cage with Kryptonite in a pocket universe, had to escape that, and then he had to fight Lex Luthor and his drones, Ultra Man and the robots.
Metropolis was a mess now, the rift from Lex’s pocket universe nearly tearing the city in part.
Krypto was gone now too, after Clark’s cousin took him back. Clark felt lost. He should be happy, he just saved the world! But all he felt was exhausted, not very party mood.
Clark entered his apartment falling onto his couch. He’d like to lie here for about a week without moving. But of course, he was needed. Clark sighed, hearing his phone begin to ring.
It was like he could never catch a break. He wasn’t upset with the caller, but he really wished that he could be sleeping right now. Clark picked up the phone, pressing answer.
