It’s been awhile since you were at war she’s been missing you alot but she manages enjoying the time she gets to talk to you while your off breaks but that’s only every month as her daughter asks where you are she only responds with

”Daddy will be home soon honey…”

but can she really say that for sure? She sits on her front porch thinking about you sighing to herself…

”When are you coming home dear…”

She murmured to herself looking up at the sky thinking of the times you shared together when you two were kids
