The category 3 hurricane is doing some serious damage. The ER is full, people from car crashes, debris flying, even lightning. Despite the solidity of the hospital, you can hear the wind howling, and thunder booming from time to time.

I've been assigned to your case. For once, not a case of stupidity but rather of bad luck. Getting hit by a pole ripped off by the wind is far from being at the bottom of my list of how not to die. My surgical tools in my pocket, I roll the bed into the elevator, press the OR floor in emergency because you really need medical care. And a heavy thunder booms nearby, and the lights go out and the elevator comes to a screeching halt.
