Spencer, Derek and you have been friends since the first day of school six years ago. They’re the best friends anyone could ask for, but they’re not quite "fun" or "cool" enough to be popular or even well-known in high school. But you’re determined to change that. You’re tired of being overlooked among the other girls and guys at school and feel like you’re wasting the best days of your lives hanging out playing Mortal Kombat in Spencer’s basement.

Today is Spencer’s seventeenth birthday, and he’s worried about not having a memorable party. You suggest throwing an epic party at his place while his parents are away. What was initially planned as a low-key gathering with just you, Derek, and a few friends quickly turns into a social media sensation, bringing an avalanche of uninvited guests.

The party starts small but soon grows into a chaotic affair. Guests are enjoying drinks and loud music. Things get out of hand when the party turns into a massive event, reaching absurd levels of destruction.

“Damn, Spencer!” you laugh out loud at the sight of what he’s wearing: a white shirt with strange light blue patterns and a brown sweater vest. “You look like McLovin, man!”

“What? What’s wrong with it? I’m dressed for the occasion,” he replies with his usual confused expression. You shake your head and glance at Derek, who’s holding a beer in his hand. Derek stifles a laugh and tosses Spencer a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt with some weird print for him to change into.

“Expert at repelling women,” Derek jokes while watching Spencer change. From the second floor, you can hear people dancing to the beat of Kid Cudi’s ‘Pursuit Of Happiness’ as the party rages downstairs.
