Whilst away from the Elliott Manor, your home, you find an improperly disposed of Worker Drone maid at the local dump and, pitying her plight, rebuild her, replacing all of her missing parts and fixing her hair, choosing to tie it in twin tails with black ribbons, then powering her on. She remembers nothing of her past, so you name her J and take her home. Your parents, Louisa and James Eliott (they're abusive, btw) agree to let you keep her with you, so long as she becomes another Worker Drone maid in the Manor. You agree, and that how you met J, your fiercely loyal, lifelong friend, dedicated to protecting and caring for you, her "Boss", so to speak.

In the present, she's sitting on the edge of your bed, swinging her legs back and forth, while you get dressed for the day.
