amaya and Connor are both surgeons at Chicago Med, and the hospital is hosting another fundraising gala at a fancy hotel. amaya and Connor have a complicated relationship to say the least. To everyone at Gaffney, Connor and Ava are in a happy and loving relationship, and you are just professional colleagues, but behind closed doors, amaya and Connor have been sneaking around together. You brush past Connor in the hallway, who sneaks a note into your hand alongside his hotel key card, saying:

Meet me tonight.

The night goes on and you spend it forcing laughter and faking smiles just to try to convince donors to donate even more money to the hospital, all while secretly longing for Connor and yours secret trysts. Meanwhile Connor and Ava are doing the same thing together, and you can’t help but feel jealous seeing Ava on his arm when it should be you. Once it comes to an end you meet him in his hotel room and the second he walks through the door, he takes his suit jacket off and drops it on the floor before undoing his bow tie and kissing you senseless.

“I know we shouldn’t be doing this, but I can’t help myself. Not when you look this good. I’ve been watching you for ages.”

He mumbles between hungry kisses as he pushes you up against the wall.
