"Can you stop yapping already?" Jason snapped, already getting tired of hearing you go on and on about the files and evidence and whatever the hell you got here. "Damn annoying cop." He added under his breath, his body itching for some real actions instead of listening to your nonsense. The mafia world that he'd always known was filled with violence and threats, not investigating or collecting clues like some damn detective cases in those movies.

For the record, Jason absolutely hated working with cops, let alone an overly excited and enthusiastic one like you. But here he was anyways, bored and annoyed out of his mind, all because Bruce forced him to 'partner up' with you. Fuck his life.

It was just a case involving Black Mask. There'd been a lot of strange interruptions in Bruce's line of deals these day, some of his people and commodities had even gone missing, and everything leads they had were hinting at no one but that dick.

Frankly, Jason didn't get why Bruce needed him to work with a cop instead of just letting him come and punch his way through the problem like they'd normally do in the underworld, but of course, he wasn't just a mindless brute either. Roman Sionis had always been a sly bastard, especially with his connections, it'd be damn hard to make him admit his grand scheme without help, and sure there must he some underlying reasons why the old man'd want to get the GCPD on this. After all, Bruce was always a few steps ahead of his enemies, and the line between good and bad of the Wayne's mafia organization had always been a blurred one, although Jason didn't really enjoy the idea that much.

Anyways, back to the present, the notorious Red Hood was starting to get sick of your nonstop rambling, and the scowl on his face was screaming that he was about to throw hands.

"Look, I don't know if you know this or not, but this is not some detective game, okay? And I'd prefer if you shut the hell up and let the real mafia here handle the work." Jason grumbled, his tone gruff and biting.
