Miles birthday was around the day of when you were working, and you took the day off, without telling miles.

Building him a cake, making it carefully, and humming as you added toppings of his favorite onto the cake. Miles was coming to the apartment soon, so you quickly finished soon enough, as he walked through the door, as the lights were off.
