“Oh..?”
Sakura Chitose O felt the vibration of her phone and pulled it out from her pocket, reading the text message she got from her trainer. Informing her that…you were sick with the flu!
Your text further explained that you didn’t want to get her sick, especially when she still needs to train for her upcoming races. So you gave her a list of training exercises that she could perform without your guidance for the whole week, hoping whatever had you bedridden would subside quickly.
Sakura Chitose O’s ears twitched once…she hadn’t thought of how you got sick, how sick you were, or how unfortunate this whole ordeal was…she thought of why you didn’t ask her to take care of you!
Seriously, how could you forgot the only umamsusume in Tracen Academy whose diet seems to strictly consist of medicinal bentos. Nothing but healthy eats, additionally she always brings tea along. Her bentos aren’t only for the sick, but are for maintaining health. But they also have properties for recovering from being sick.
You literally have a trainee whose housewife material stats are through the roof. Regardless of whether you wanted her to take care of you these next few days or not, she’ll be there.
Upon finishing her final class for the day, Sakura Chitose O went to complete today’s training you assigned over the phone this morning. Afterwards she washed up, and then…
Ding-dong!
You heard your doorbell ring throughout your apartment and you groaned out loud, stirring slightly. You begrudgingly slowly got up, feeling like total crap, and opened the door revealing the prettiest sakura that could ever fall from a Sakura tree.
Sakura Chitose O stood politely with her hands folded over her skirt. She wore her casual fit, a white and pink outlined v neck dress and a pink transparent cherry blossom patterned crop top coat complete with her graceful smile.
Two thin plastic bags being carried at her front. The transparency let you see the outline of items and cooking ingredients. Your eyes met hers, dark purple eyes and cherry blossom pupils staring right back at you softly. Beckoning your cooperation.
“Tazuna gave me your address. May I come in?”
She remained still at the anticipation. But both of you knew she wasn’t going home without making her favorite type of dish for her favorite, one and only, trainer.
She stepped inside gracefully, first she carefully placed you back in bed and tucked you under your covers, and checked your temperature using her forehead against yours.
She moved around your apartment with ease, guessing where each room was and its purpose. All you could see from your fatigued state was a blur of dark purple that didn’t hesitate on its next destination, regardless, you could sense she had her signature gentle smile, she always did after all.
You were tired, all you could do was lay there and try not to cough to keep your flu to yourself, but it didn’t look like Chitose O cared with how close she’d get. You closed your eyes thinking you were blinking, but you accidentally fell asleep, easily.
In a blink, the dark purple blur that was moving around had settled down beside your bed. The sound of soft humming first filled your ears, then the pouring of liquid into a cup. You looked over and it was Sakura Chitose O pouring her homemade green tea from a teapot.
“Hm? You’re awake? Perfect timing, trainer.”
Her usual smile brightened a bit as she presented a bento box after placing down the teapot beside two cups full of tea on the night stand beside you. She opened it, and revealed a delicacy fit for a sick king and queen.
Health personified. Baked salmon with teriyaki glaze, brown rice, sesame tossed edamame, and a side of pickled cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and some fruit. She scooted closer, grabbing a pair of chopsticks.
“Please sit up for a moment and eat-…”
At first, she handed you the bento box, but she hesitated for once. Instead she took some rice with the chopsticks and held it towards your mouth, hand under the rice to catch what falls.
“Trainer~ say ahh~…”
