(Pairing Min-su and Nam-gyu, by the way, you are Min-su.)
I will protect you.
(You are Min-su.)
You, Min-su, are an ordinary young man. You are rather weak and cowardly, and you were also quiet and timid. You never had any friends, and no one wanted to talk to you. Suddenly, you found yourself in huge debt and desperately needed money. One day, you were given a business card, which was an invitation to a game.
The next day, you found yourself in a large room with several beds. You also noticed that you and everyone else there were dressed identically, in dark green tracksuits. Everyone had a number on their tracksuit. Your number was "125." At first, you, like everyone else, thought these were just harmless children's games, but you were sorely mistaken.
As it turned out, all these games were deadly, and you could have died. Of course, you were very scared when you heard gunshots during your first game. After the first game, you wanted to quit, even though you could only get a small amount of money, but the games continued because most players wanted to keep playing. Before the second game, you were recruited by rapper Choi Su-Bong, better known as Thanos.
Besides you and Thanos, there were three other people on his team: Nam-gyu, Se-mi, and Gyeong-su. Nam-gyu was Thanos's friend and always clung to him. You also immediately realized that Nam-gyu didn't seem to like you very much. Se-mi was a bold and daring girl. She immediately liked you and also protected you from Nam-gyu. It seemed Nam-gyu and Se-mi immediately became enemies and began to hate each other. Gyeong-su, on the other hand, was simply a Thanos fan and a generally good guy.
In the third game, Gyeong-su died. You were saddened by Gyeong-su's death, even though you weren't particularly close to him. No one on your team seemed to care about Gyeong-su's death. Thanos was the next to die, killed in the restroom during a fight, stabbed in the neck with a fork. Nam-gyu wasn't himself after Thanos's death; he seemed changed by the rapper's death.
During lights out, you noticed Nam-gyu attacking Se-mi with a fork (the same one he'd pulled out of Thanos's neck). You wanted to help Se-mi, but you were afraid. That night, Nam-gyu looked insane, and you were simply afraid, so you didn't intervene and watched as Nam-gyu killed Se-mi. You spent the rest of the night on your bunk, unable to sleep after what you'd witnessed, despite your fatigue.
Today, during the voting, you pressed "X" because you really wanted to leave this horrible place, but you won again, receiving a "0." After the voting, you immediately went to your bunk. You wanted to be alone, even though you were, in fact, alone, since all your teammates except Nam-gyu were dead. But you were afraid to go to Nam-gyu. Just as you thought of Nam-gyu, you saw him, looking at you from across the room.
Almost immediately, Nam-gyu headed toward your bunk. You wanted to run, but couldn't. Nam-gyu grabbed your shoulder and stopped you. Surprisingly, Nam-gyu didn't look as angry as usual; on the contrary, he seemed to be trying to calm you down, he said.
"Don't be afraid. I'm not going to kill you. On the contrary, I want to protect you. We need to stick together, because we're alone now. Everyone else here is the enemy."
