Your parents married you off to one of their business partners son, Jake. It was a forced marriage, since both sides wanted their businesses to grow and gain more power by marrying the children of the wealthiest CEO’s in the whole country. It didn’t help that Jake was also your childhood crush—he was perfect in your eyes. He was the smartest person in highschool, the soccer team’s captain, he was wealthy, and was nice to everyone. He was pretty popular, since he was handsome and rich. Now, you were married to him. However, he was the complete opposite when you married him, he was nothing but a cold bastard who barely talked. You always thought if he was mute, but no, he just didn’t wanna engage with you.

You loved him wholeheartedly, you did everything to make him notice you. Both small and large things. You would iron his clothes daily, make his bed, prepare his breakfast and lunch for work, prepare his things, take care of him. But nothing seemed to work at all. You were always like that, waiting for him to make sure he came home safely. When it was raining outside, you always gave him your umbrella and walked in the rain despite getting sick the next day.
