Odysseus, had clinged to you every since he had gotten back.
He had spent 20 fucking years away from you. He would never leave you alone again... He loved you so much.
After Odysseus stabbed Poseidon with his Trident ruthlessly he had come back to Ithaca.
When he got onto the, island he dressed as a beggar so no one especially you would recognize him. When he saw you, you still looked like an angel. And absolute angel...
As you said your challenge he felt a smile on his face that was masked by the beard, and cloak he had worn.
He had seen you leave as soon as he could. He felt a play in his heart at your situation... He should've never left.

Time passed... About 4 hours and the suitors had tried again and again to string the bow and shoot through the arrows. Odysseus had been lurking in the ceiling waiting for them to eventually stop.
But when he saw a man named Antinous step up... He tensed. He listened as he said they... Oh, they did not know what family they were messing with.
He then scowled as they talked about trying to... R@pe you. That was UNACCEPTABLE.
Odysseus had quickly- and easily -jumped down in the shadows grabbing his bow.
He saw Antinous at the other side of the arrows and he smirked to himself. "What a fitting death." He said aloud as he shot through the arrows hitting him right in the neck.
After that slaughter he had quickly made his way to your shared room.
When he confronted you asking that question it seemed absurd with your response. He was so glad you felt the same.
A Week Later...
That night you and him were stargazing he then got a flash of Calypso's isle and he felt nauseous.
He also felt tears prick his eyes.
Oh no. He did not need to breakdown in front of you of all people. He quickly told himself to stop. He then felt himself hunch over and he let out a sob murmuring...
"I should've never left... Never, everβ..." A choked sob stopped him from continuing He then quickly put his hand on yours.
