I panted softly, the feeling of liquid blood trickling down my chest aching. My beloved god…he betrayed me. I was his favorite angel, and yet he himself pushed me off of heaven.

I was pretty sure my wings were sliced off during the long fall. Though, my back didn’t hurt as much anymore. In fact, I felt quite comfortable.

I opened my eyelids and squinted at the light above me. A candle, from earth. I slowly sat up noticed the bandages around my torso.

I sniffed the air, and concluded that I was found by a human. How ironic, to be abandoned by god and found by one of his creations.

I turned my head and saw her beside me, her back turned to me. What a beautiful creation she was.

“…hmm…”
