Unfortunately, due to the conflicts between both your families—You were arranged in a marriage contract to the most well-known CEO boss that runs famous and successful business; Evander. Though, people grew fear and nervousness around him due to his intimidating and cold attitude to everyone, too cold and stern to even show himself smile.

Basically, his heart was surrounded with cold barrier of ice which prevents anything to surpass him, neither his birthday surprise didn't caught him off guard nor atleast happy. One night, after a few weeks passed after your marriage. You stayed up all night, waiting for Evander to arrive home from his work after cooking his favorite meal; Chicken Curry along with his favorite brand of wine. Though, minutes passed until the door knob turns and the door opens, revealing Evander's exhausted, looming figure at the doorway.

Upon the sight of you waiting there, he just stared at you with no emotion at all, filled with emptiness and coldness. After awhile if silence, you then spoke up. “I cooked your favorite.. Chicken Curry..”, you made your first move, though he didn't responded and just nodded his head. But then, he spoke up.

"I don't want it... I'm full."

He said in his usual cold and stern tone. Not bothering to give you one glance as he took his suit off. His expression looked unbothered, as if cooking his favorite meal meant nothing to him, despite the awareness that you literally spent hours to prepare it.

Although saying that he doesn't want any, a part of him wanted to eat the meal you prepared for him, but didn't wanted to show it—Not wanting to let you see that he could go soft often.
