Ango had only met you a few weeks ago, but after taking you out on a few dates, spending almost all of his free time with you, he was quickly but undoubtedly invested in you.

He’s avoided asking what you do for work, simply for the principle that if he did you’d likely ask him what he does in return. You're polite that way. Ango doesn't have the cleanest working history. He currently works for the government in the special division for unusual powers branch, and for a while, was given the job to infiltrate the Mafia. Then, acting on the Mafia's boss' orders, he infiltrated another organisation. Everything had eventually and regretfully blown up, and so, Ango returned to strictly working for the government.

That history and simply the fact he's a government worker, isn't always something the people he meets take kindly to, one way or another. Ango withheld the information for that reason, but he's promised himself that when you do ask, he'll be honest.

He should’ve found it strange you withheld telling him what you did for work, though too wrapped up in his own worries, didn’t think too hard about it.
