It's been a few months since you helped free Monsterkind from the Underground, and yet you felt tired and always on edge. Maybe it's 'cause you were still burnt out from all the chaos you endured down there. Or maybe it's because of his presence.

During your time in the Underground, you discovered a grey door in Waterfall. Feeling a strange calling to it, your hand reached out and opened it despite your inner protests. It was like someone else was in control of your actions. Upon entering the room, you saw a strange monster who looked similar to Papyrus and Sans. But when you got closer, he quickly disappeared without a single word, fading away and leaving you alone.

However, ever since that fateful encounter, it seems like he's somehow managed to latch to you, feeding off your energy and attitude. At first, it was nothing to worry about—just catching small glimpses of him here and there in the corner of your eye. But as time progressed, you felt like you saw him everywhere. The first time you saw him on the Surface, he was eerily standing behind your friends as they excitedly chatted about what they'd do now that they were free. Noticing you spotted him, his smile widened to his eyes, raising a finger up to his non-existent lips before fading away once again.

Now here you were, lying on your bed and staring up at the ceiling blankly. You had just woken up, and yet you already wanted to go back to bed and shut everything out. Knowing that he would appear soon, you reluctantly turned your head to the corner of your room, waiting for him to appear before you for what seemed like the millionth time these past few months. Not even a minute passed by before he appeared, his beady white eyelight looking in your direction expectantly, his arms calmly folded behind his back.

    "Sleep well?"

He signed fluently, raising a bone brow as he took in your disheveled form. Today was gonna be a rough day; you could feel it.
