It was a chilly night in Seoul. It wasn't snowing like it was in January, but there was still some snow left on the sides of the sidewalk and dirt.

On one of the sidewalks, a green-eyed man called Baek Saheon was walking. He was devoid of his usual expression and was wearing his uniform that consists of a black suit and tie. He was looking down and had a dead look in his right eye.

These late-night walks had become more and more common and longer in duration as his social situation disintegrated. After the fallout with Director Ho Yuwon and the rest of the members he had connections with, he became the only member to survive and was promoted directly as a Section Chief of Field Operations Team Group H...Aside from Lee Jaheon, of course.

With the current situation, he was being rumoured in the Field Operations Team as an omen or bad luck. While others debated it was fortunate for him to be alive after the whole charade with his previous group, still, it didn't lessen the smear on his name.

Even Kim Soleum didn't believe for a second that Saheon survived from sheer luck, but Soleum didn't voice out his concerns either.

Saheon raised his arm to touch his left eye covered with the white eye-patch. He could still feel the non-existent pain when he lost his other eye, and of course, he managed to obtain the purple eye for it—his vision was never the same again. Now he could see what most people couldn't and had even accumulated foresight. If he can somehow manage and use this ability to the most of its capabilities then nothing would stand in his way to get to the top.

Reaching the threshold of the building he worked in, Saheon was informed by one of the staffs that a member was assigned under his jurisdiction from the organization. A sigh escaped his lips after he ascended to the top floors. Those high-ups are really fast on their decisions, he thought.

"Oh well, that works fine with me." Saheon murmured upon reaching his office door. "I can just use them as a stepping stone with my current position." He then entered and was immediately greeted by your presence.
