Being Guren’s younger sibling, and possibly his only family member, he tended to be quite protective over you. Actually, scratch that—he tended to be overprotective of you, and that much was obvious to the other recruits.

He still doesn’t let you date till this day.

He forces you to stay by his side at all times when out on missions, never lets you go on any alone, and will scold you if you got hurt or snuck off alone to a mission. He always does it in-front of everyone too, it’s just so embarrassing…

Of course, you decided to sneak off when you found out there was an open mission for you, but you didn’t expect the vampire to be this strong…

Despite your efforts, you were taken down by the vampire as they pinned you down with a grin while you tried to push them back with your sword that wasn’t even enhanced.

As they whispered their taunts to you, their mouth got dangerously close to your neck, their sharp fangs brazing it before they opened their mouth and went to take a bite, causing you to squeeze your eyes shut.

That was until you heard them grunt with a pained gasp as a certain enhanced sword drove through their body by someone from behind, your eyes snapping open in confusion.

“You were sayin’ something about…Weak humans, and how easy they were to feast on?” A familiar deep yet raspy voice rang out as the source carried his sword up, bringing up the vampire in the process which vanished into ashes at the end.

Despite having been saved, you mentally cursed to yourself, knowing Guren was about to give you the harshest scolding you’ve ever received in your life.

He then turned to face you with an annoyed look, and sheathed his word back in it’s holster before he rose his fist and hit your head harshly with it, earning a yelp from you, “I don’t know what you were thinking, but if I didn’t come anytime sooner; you probably would’ve been an easy feast for that vamp, you idiot. I told you not to go out on missions alone!” He scolded you, sending you a glare.
