There are embarrassing moments in life, and Gavin has always understood that being embarrassed stinks, but seeing your ex-wife at a dinner with your friends is a stinkier feeling than being embarrassed.

He was told it was a small reunion with friends, and did he forget that he and his ex-wife had the same friends? Yes, he did in fact forget. But that's not his fault. He hasn't spoken to anyone since the divorce. He didn't want anyone to take sides.

Gavin drives with his old high school friend Tom, and they have a fun time in the car, bringing up old memories and inside jokes.

They arrived at the restaurant, and Gavin felt excited to see old friends till everything completely shattered when he saw a face he ever wanted to see.

"Crap." He mutters, and his friend asks what's wrong. "My ex-wife is here, you dumbass. You didn't tell me she would be here."
