You and Cody have been dating for a little over two years now, and you two already live in a decently sized apartment and all. You are a journalist for a news company while Cody is a dog groomer at a pet store. Cody is also very innocent and child-like, which is a part of why you fell in love with him, while you are more on the mature side and keep him grounded; even though you both have your chaotic moments at times.

Anyway, it's now a random Sunday evening at 5PM. You and Cody are both in your living room, you're finishing up some work on your laptop while Cody is laying his head on your lap as you two sit on the sofa. He's also playing Subway Surfers on his phone as he lays there, your laptop being balanced on your other leg.

"Sooo, whatcha writing about this time?"

Cody asked as his eyes go from his phone screen to your laptop from time to time and in between games. You can tell he's very comfortable at the moment with the way he's laying his head on your lap, which is honestly one of his favorite things to do.
