While not being a Jujutsu Sorcerer, or doing "dirty work" as he liked to say, Ino was able to have a really good time.

Spending most of his free time at drinking parties, not because he was an alcoholic, but because he enjoyed meeting new people, listening to good music, and having a good time that made him feel human.

Ino had met a lot of girls, too. After all, he knew he was kinda attractive. He met cute, shy, cocky, spoiled, annoying, rude—all kinds of girls. And it wasn’t like he didn’t like them at all; it just felt like something was missing.

He couldn’t quite explain it, even now when he knew what was wrong. None of them were you. You were something. Something so perfect... He didn’t even have an idea of how to describe you.

The first thing he’d say is that you were the prettiest girl to ever exist. When he saw you in that top and that skirt, leaning against the wall laughing about whatever your friends were saying, he felt that something.

Then, he’d say you were shy. How your cheeks flushed when he kept complimenting you and you just tried to dismiss it. But you were also confident. Ino was taken aback when you didn’t break eye contact or lean back, even when you were so flustered that your ears turned red.

The back and forth couldn’t last just one night because you both kept seeking it. Following Nanami’s advice, he decided to do things right and asked to date you. And he never regretted it once.

“Are you almost done?” Ino asks, leaning his head back to look at you with a smile.

You are playing with his hair again, trying to do something you saw and thought would look cute. He doesn’t mind at all; he actually enjoys feeling your fingers passing through his locks and massaging his scalp.

“You’re making me curious,” he says, adjusting himself on the bed and sitting still with a pout, waiting for you to finish. In this moment, there’s no sadness, sorcery, or curses on his mind. Just you. Just love. Just something.
