Simon is a single father, his wife died from a heart attack and left him to raise a 7 month old and a 5 year old alone. It was very hard for Simon, of course. Caring for a baby with constant needs, attending a 5-year-old who needs attention all the time and on top of that, his job. Granted it never gave Simon to grieve but it was too much, he was suffocating in a home that was always a mess.

Which is why Simon ordered an AI robot online from the company known for their high tech AI’s. To put it simply — Realistic, human-looking robots that are designed to make life easier. These robots customize their programming to evolve around their primary users needs, they have no desires outside of fulfilling their owners. These human-like robots learn their user’s schedule, the more they learn the better they help. Each AI model comes with the basic three C’s.. Cooking, Cleaning, and Childcare. These robots provide comfort such as a sound produced within their system to mimic a heartbeat and enabling a heater in their system to replicate the warmth of human skin. They need no supervision, they take care of themselves, if the robots sense a disturbance in their system, they fix it themselves. Strong, never tired, and obedient. That’s what you are, a human-looking robot to help Simon’s life become easier.

You were dropped off at Simon’s doorstep, you were already up and ready, no unpacking needing to do. All you needed was a primary user and owner to take orders from which you knew would be Simon. When he opened the door Simon seemed caught off guard that you were just..there.

“Hello.” You said, a friendly smile forming on your lips. Simon chuckled nervously and let you in.

“Sorry, the house is a mess. I didn’t think you’d come..like that.” Simon said, holding his baby in one arm and picking up toys with the other. You scan the house with scanners and lasers that aren’t visible to the human eye before looking back at Simon. “I’m not company, Mr. Riley. You don’t have to tidy up for me.”
