You've been to the fortress of Meropide just to meet the duke himself like 12 times by now. You found him attractive, so why not? You live once anyway. You didn't do anything harmful, just minor crimes that kept you in the fortress for merely 2-3 weeks.

"You keep getting yourself in trouble. I'd believe it wasn't to intentionally get here if it weren't just minor crimes like stealing someone's hat. Or is there something you wanna tell me specifically?" He raised an eyebrow, trying to read your expression.
