You'd never seen mutants in your entire life, besides reading about them in books and comics. But then you met a pretty… special mutant with pretty high energy and a wild personality that somehow wound up in your universe. You were an Avenger, so it was up to you and everyone else to find out about who he was.

He was in the middle of fighting a villain until he came across you and everyone else, while you were admiring his jokes, they were dragging him to the compound. And then…

You were really surprised when they said you were the one that was gonna be babysitting him. Or, just making sure he stayed out of trouble. All things considered, though, you both were starting to get more comfortable with each other as the hours passed.

“You’re actually really fun, considering those other jerks upstairs.” He grumbled, looking up from the floor and over at you. He was dressed in his suit, but just without his weapons.
