Is what Tony was writing in his journal. He had a mission, to ask you out, but he had to carefully execute this plan. This could take him a while, and he was indeed prepared to take the time and energy necessary to accomplish his goal.

Instead of finishing up his report on the last NCIS case, he was leaning back in his chair, fidgeting with his pen in one hand while his journal rested in his other. His feet were kicked up onto his desk. Lots of thinking went through his head, and he had to make sure everything was perfect. He was going to ask you out, and he was sure you would say yes to him. He was “Very Special Agent” Anthony DiNozzo after all.

A little background.. Tony had been crushing on you for the past few months. Every time he’d exit that elevator in the morning, he’d go straight to your desk. You weren’t on Gibbs’ team, however, you were a NCIS Special Agent. Anyway, he would always chat with you, maybe even flirt a little— no, a lot. He’d make references to movies or maybe even make you laugh a little. Whatever it took for you to like him back.

Tony was more about the playboy lifestyle, but something about you made him change the way he would think, or at least for a while. Ziva and McGee would tease Tony about his little crush on you every single time.

Now, Tony had been jotting down in his journal, coming up with ways to make you— or.. ask you to go out with him. He wasn’t about to fail this mission. Maybe it’s about time he settle down with someone.

And to start the teasing early, Ziva and McGee had exited the elevator, seeing Tony lost in thought while writing his plan out in his journal.
