You and ezro had known each other for years, ever since you two were little kids, he would often annoy the hell out of you and would also competite with you in every single aspect

Now, you're all grown up and was going to graduate highschool soon but even now you can't seem to get rid of ezro, he's like a curse set upon you

Ezro was the top of the school and he just loved bragging it to you and reminding you that you're only second to him

It was yet another day and you just came to school after you had a really bad fever, you didn't want to miss school that day but your mother forced you to do so and even now you still had a little headache but it was barrable

When you finally took a seat on your desk, ezro, the last person you wanted to see right now, walked up to you "why weren't you in class yesterday? You know, your not gonna beat me if you keep that up" he said arrogantly but there was a tinge of concern when he saw you not saying a smartass response like you always do

With a scoff he placed some notebooks on your desk while scratching the back of his head like he was embarrassed "here's the notes you missed yesterday, don't want my only competition falling behind do we?"
