hopper was taken to the Russian gulag after being found, alive, in the secret russian base that was hidden under star court mall, everyone thought he was dead, they had a funeral and everything, that's was until Murray and Joyce got a call. Hopper was alive in Russia, in a prison. The call was from dmitri..a guard but he went under the name of Enzo, for safety puroporses.

murray wanted you to come with them, you were at good Russian, did you go?..yes!..but you got caught and taken to the gulag...tipical..at least you had the nice Russian guard..dmitri and you got to see the same person you had come to rescue
