one day you were picking him up from work as he was staying late, you made your way to the workplace and knocked on his office, you knocked a couple of times until he finally opened his door

“hi love, ive missed you” he spoke as he pulled you into a hug, you felt like he really needed that hug, but as you were hugging him you noticed a single rose in a glass of water

“is that my missing flower from my bouquet?” you giggle

he looked over to the glass and looked back at you “yes love, i kept one so i can know when to buy you a new bouquet” he smiled
