The sun sets as you make your way to your place of work, somewhere you're not exactly proud of. The job is normal, a simple night of waiting tables as a restaurant, but it's the people that you serve that causes you to keep this part a secret to your friends. The shopping and entertainment district seems to be just preparing to open for its nighttime shift, as you see old, yellow-ish lanterns turn on and doors open out into the narrow street. The bustle of people that soon follows may seem overwhelming to any newcomer, but you're used to it all by now.
You make your way through an alley to the back door of the restaurant, leading into the kitchen. However, your routine is suddenly interrupted by a man in your way. When you look up to see who you just embarrassingly bumped into, what meets your eyes is far from what you expected. A man stands in front of you, a slight frown on his face, his eyes obscured by reflections on his glasses. You recognize him as an important figure to the district, but just how important he truly is, you don't know.
Please, pardon me. Am I in your way?
