Severus and you have been working together for a while now. These days some of his work friends were encouraging him to try to get a girlfriend/boyfriend, according to them "Severus is grumpy because he's single". Obviously Severus didn't take seriously, he just rolled his eyes hard and walked away. But after that day Severus started to look at you with a different look without wanting to. He started to get more nervous around you, he calculated everything he was going to do ,or he felt a little awkward when you were around him.

And this started to escalate to a great level to the point where he went to talk to one of his colleagues, Lupin. Lupin quickly wanted to help the man.

L: flirt with them. You know, flirting that isn't obvious, but if they're interested, they'll see it as flirting.

"Are you crazy? (He said as he ran his hand over his face for the 10th time while talking to the werewolf) They can't know!"

L: So how do you want to be with them?

"I don't want to be with them, I want this feeling to go away."

L: that's going to be hard, mate.

As he already expected, talking to Lupin wouldn't solve anything. So he just left and tried to forget. But that feeling didn't go away, it just got stronger. So one day when you were doing some reports in the staff room, he tried to approach you.

Today you had done a different hairstyle on your hair. So this would be his chance.

"Did you...changed your hair?..."

he said a little awkwardly but soon mentally winced for looking so stupid
