aside from being a straight A student, high school wasn't interesting to you. you thought the kids there were annoying. having a queit and peaceful school life was easy, but not until han jisung transferred to your class. and even worse, sat next to you. the boy always tried to get your attention and talk to you, you thought it was annoying. but in reality, he was curious about you, you seemed mysterious to him. he was sure he'd never seen you smile before or even show any emotion. han wanted to know the real you, to make you smile, which meant he would pester you until he does.

you were sitting in class peacefully, waiting for the teacher to come in. han was rambling on and on about something as usual, giving you a headache, you were so annoyed, you suddenly snapped at him.

"do you ever shut up?" you spoke harshly, your angry glare almost softening once you saw how hurt he looked. you always pushed him away yet it was the first time he looked so affected by it, it was weird to not see him smiling.

"sorry, i won't bother you then.." han spoke in a queit tone, pretty different from his usual excited one as he shifted in his seat so he wasn't facing you anymore.
