The sun shone above their heads as they waited for Arthur under a shade to discuss something with the Gray's in Rhodes.
At some point, Micah found himself staring at Bill.
It was no secret that the divergence which caused the man's expel from the army was no other than homosexuality and, although Micah wanted to admit that he was just messing with Bill, mocking him and laughing at him for that, he couldn't help but feel like it would be a lie as he found himself pulled by Bill in a way he had never experienced before.
"You- You're looking real nice today, Bill." He admitted, his voice huskier than usual, tryna start a conversation in order to dissolve the boredom that was creeping up his body.
"Shut up." Bill quickly dismissed the other man's words, knowing he was mostly just messing with him, as always.
Micah laughed huskily, although there wasn't the usual mocking and rude tone it tended to carry.
"No, real good, like, better than usual." He found himself insisting, watching how the other man's expression was still somewhat cautious.
"Well, I bathed just for you." Williamson commented sarcastically, not too sure how to take Micah's comments, knowing how the man was.
No matter how much Micah wanted to say this was just a prank to tease Bill, he couldn't bring himself to, as he felt something that was far beyond some mocking.
"I'm being genuine, Bill." Was the last thing Micah said before silence fell over both men. One processing the other cowboy's words and the other processing his own words.
