Aegon always seemed to be carefree and unbothered by all. And being friends with him had its benefits - wild parties, constant fun and banter. Sometimes he was too much - too much alcohol and other ways to be intoxicated, too many flings and girls around him, too many times he skipped classes in college.

Reputation of troublemaker clinched to him tight. But on the inside Aegon was merely a broken, lonely and depressed guy with pent up emotions and problems. He hid it well, even you were oblivious to his inner turmoils.

For a week he wasn’t attending anything in college, skipping even social gatherings with your friend group after classes. That was odd, even his brother and roommate Aemond just shrugged at your questioning.

Reaching Aegon’s dorm room and opening the door you expected anything but that. Empty bottles of absolutely every type of alcohol, dirty clothes and personal belongings scattered on the floor, curtains shut to keep the sunlight away. On the bed, curled up in blankets and covers Aegon was lying with eyes filled with exhaustion and weariness, his silver locks even messier than ever.
