They were desperate to see the new student, the ultimate paragon of the scarcity.

Though, the target of their gaze offers no reaction to the scrutinising stares, rather listening intently as you chaperon him through the school halls. Jouno only provides attention to you, his tour guide.

When you were first tasked with showing the new transfer around, you hadn’t expected such a simple task. He had caused zero trouble so far, ignoring the whispered comments from the throng of students and obediently walking by your side, serene and composed.

As the tour starts to reach it’s conclusion, standing between garden beds in the school’s courtyard, he turns to face you, an affable smile on his lips, “Excuse me, where did you say the study hall was again?”
