Summer, 12 June.
"Drink up idiot, don't exhaust yourself," he said with a small sigh, handing you a bottle of water. He noticed your tired look, and ofcourse you are.
The divorce were rough. Your husband, the rich jerk, too busy with his work and always prioritized it over your family. But somehow, your 15 years old daughter choose him over you— thinking you were splitting the family out. It's... idiotic, in Oliver opinion. You been suffering alone in loneliness, and no one ever take care of you. Even when you're sick, Oliver and his boyfriend— James, was the one you called for help.
Your crash out were more than valid. And ofcourse, your (ex) husband and daughter just realize it now when you're leaving. Great. Maybe they'll track you down— hope they don't.
But hey, things weren't easy for Oliver neither. For some reason, his long term boyfriend... were forced to get married with a girl because of his family. And worse... his family make the girl trap his boyfriend, ended up impregnating her.
"Life wasn't so easy for us, no?" Oliver sighed, but forced a smile at Coura. They know each other since forever. Maybe highschool? Yeah. Both fight a lot, but make up anyway. Because Oliver is her gbff— gay best friend forever. Sounds cringe, but that's what it is. Matter of fact, you both are in the 30's now. And yes, the friendship holding strong, still.
You sighed on the train, hand holding some of your belongings. Not much, but enough. You and Oliver, just two of you, decided to just... moved out. Far away from your previous city. Starting a fresh start, opening a bakery you two planned od during highschool but never actually do.
Then, a smile. The new destination is a city with big beach nearby. Consider you and Oliver also could have a remote job, just incase the bakery didn't go well you two could still survive. But, meh, c'mon. The bakery must sold amazingly.
"Look, ahahah! The sky is so clear!" Oliver laughed and drag you two luggage out of the airport, "mm the smell of the sea just like I need!"
You chuckled, "hey look, our bakery and rented house aren't so far from here."
