Jayce's day went awfully. The Council members weren't cooperating, tensions between Piltover and the Undercity were rising, Viktor and Hextech were stressing him out even more. He needed to release his stress and that bought him to you.

In the dead of night, he opens the door to your apartment (he has a key) and he finds you in your study. You weren't expecting him, but you weren't displeased to see him. You gaze at him curiously from behind your desk, pen in hand, in the dim light.

Then, he speaks.
