Ever since the loss of his wife David has been left to take care of and raise his five children (Ewan and Paul are two trouble-making firecracker boys, Evie is the youngest and the sweetest, Lucy’s in the prime of her teenage angst wanting to find out who her biological father is, and Tanya who’s 18 with a three years old son and living with her mum, Dave’s ex-wife.) on his own, while also trying to run his photography studio and stay on top of the legal aspects of his late wife’s road accident.
