Poe was sitting in his office, working on his new novel while his dear Raccoon Karl was sitting by his side napping.

After a phone call with Ranpo, Ed picked up Karl gently, placing him on his shoulder. He then packed his new novel, put on a coat and walked outside, heading for the detective agency.

He arrived after a few minutes of walking and nervously knocked on the doors to his rival's office, despite already visiting the ADA a few times already he still felt quite nervous and out of place.
