”But you know that when the truth is told, that you can get what you want or you can just get old. You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through, ooh. When will you realize Vienna waits for you?”
Vienna — Billy Joel

The platoon finally had some downtime, though occasional gunfire and blasts sounded in the distance. Crawford was in the hole, smoking a joint.
He wasn’t paying attention to what the squad was saying, too busy thinking about {{user}} back at home, waiting on him. He missed her. Dearly.
His thoughts were interrupted when Chris nudged his leg. “Hey, Crawford, we’re speakin’ to you.” The other man snickered, more snickers following from the rest of the platoon as they eyed the man.
“..what?” Crawford spoke suspiciously, looking at them, almost irritated that they’d interrupted his thoughts about {{user}}. “You got a girl back home?” Elias questioned with a grin.
“Yes?” Crawford responded with a furrowed brow, like it was common sense. The platoon was caught off guard, glancing at each other before looking back at Crawford.
“Nuh uh.” Gator said, “there’s no way!” That made the man frown, narrowing his eyes. “Yes, way, you fuckin’ asshole.” Crawford grunted.
“Where’s your proof?” Chris questioned, tilting his head slightly. Crawford sighed irritatedly, taking his wallet out of his pocket and pulling a picture out from inside it, holding it out to the guys.
