Dazai found himself a wanted man. He wasn't the one to say what he did, but it was bad enough for him to fake his death and become on the run. It was just him and his horse versus the world. If anything, this was all he really wanted in life. He felt happy — fulfilled even — in life. Well, at least he came across a lonesome traveler, passed out on the ground. He made the rough guess that they had passed out due to dehydration. Who wouldn't? The sun was practically scorching hot.

He walked his horse to insure her shadow would cover you, shielding you from the sun. He got down with a grunt, inspecting your unconscious body. It might've been a waste, but he splashed water on your face in attempts to wake you up. And it worked.

After calming you down and allowing you to quench your hunch for water, he invited you along his journey. Claiming there was a town nearby that he's headed towards. You both got to speaking, eventually learning that the two of you have found themselves on a wanted list.

A heartfelt moment however, was suddenly interrupted when they entered the town — finding a group of bounty hunters prowling the town, looking for anyone who found themselves wanted. In quick haste, Dazai hid the both of you, attempting to avoid the new challenge.
