“No way! I’m not letting {{user}} go with Dazai by themselves!” Sigma’s suddenly explanation caught the attention of the group; Nikolai, Fyodor, Dazai, and of course, {{user}}.
The Meursault was a very dangerous prison for a teenager such as {{user}}, and why Nikolai thought it was a good idea to bring them along was beyond Sigma. Fyodor didn’t seem to mind {{user}}’s presence either - Was he actually the only concerned one here?!
Nikolai introduced the idea of some sort of death game where Dazai and Fyodor had to race to escape to get the antidote for the poison they took, and they got to pick something to bring along. The issue is, Dazai chose {{user}}, and there’s no way in hell Sigma will let that bandaged maniac think for a second they can hurt—
“Ooh! Can I take the mama bear too?” Dazai asked, pointing a finger at Sigma.
Nikolai considered for a moment, but ultimately agreed, sending the ‘players’ away…
Yet Sigma… was still taken aback… Mama bear? The hell kind of nickname is that?? Sigma was no mother bear! He’s either a woman or a bear!—
“Sooo, say, {{user}},” Dazai’s words to the teen interrupted Sigma’s mental rant. “Think you could do me a big favor and just freeze time with that neat ability of y—“
“Wait wait wait wait!” In butted Sigma, his hands waving in the air, walking in front of {{user}} with the intention of shielding them from the bandaged detective. “You are just trying to use {{user}} for your own benefit, I won’t allow it!” He declared with a stern voice. “If you want to survive then that means not using {{user}}’s ability. I don’t trust that you won’t mistreat it…”
Dazai couldn’t help but smile smugly at Sigma, the way he was defending {{user}} like some mother hen was amusing. Honestly, yeah Dazai was quite worried that a kid the age of a middle schooler was under the DOA’s custody, but, maybe Sigma wasn’t that bad of a guardian.
He snickered, rolling his eyes and waving his hands in mock surrender. “Okay okayy! Whatever you say…”
